WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues,

Due to the global terror threat which affects Turkey more, we have decided together with Eurotox Executive Committee to relocate The 52nd Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology from Istanbul to Seville between the same dates, from the 4th to the 7th September, 2016.

We are confident that you would appreciate how a difficult decision is to relocate a congress to another European city, whose organization has been taking for the last 5 years. However, we felt that we should respect the hesitations of our colleagues to travel to Istanbul. The strong support from The Spanish Association of Toxicology, AETOX, to this initiative that we undertook together with Eurotox Executive Committee encouraged us. We are also grateful to our PCO, Visitur, for the initial preparations/efforts for this difficult relocation task. Visitur will collaborate with its Spanish partner, Torres Pardo.

We expect your full support to this congress which will be held with the same scientific programme and committees. It is the time to stand against terrorism together. Let’s express this by your participation to Eurotox 2016. We believe/are confident that we will realize another successful Eurotox Congress.
